2011 MARCIA HOWE PCC SCHOLARSHIPS

On April 2nd 2011 for the 7th consecutive year, the PCC board and members will view students' portfolios for the Marcia Howe Scholarship Award competition.This is for graduating high school students, dedicated to the pursuit of their art. The scholarship, given in honor of one of our founding members, is meant to help with their first year in college. This year the scholarship will be $1000 each. The event will be held at Barnstable HS.

This program has been a rewarding and successful outreach for PCC. We have had great letters of appreciation and accomplishment from our young recipients. They have pursued dreams and careers in the arts that we wish to support throughout the community of Cape Cod. Recipients receive the scholarship awards after they have completed their first semester and we receive a successful transcript.

Printmakers of Cape Cod gladly accepts donations to the Marcia Howe Scholarship Fund. We couldn't do this without your help. We know our members are proud to offer these awards and appreciate all support. No donation is too small. Thank you to those members who sent along $10-20 extra with recent dues.
