August 22-October 1st 2022
Printmakers of Cape Cod (USA) and the Tamar Valley Printmakers (UK) presented a new body of artistic work, titled “Journey,” to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower’s historic journey to North America.
Each artist expresses a personal interpretation of the theme, “Journey”, whether from a social, emotional, or historical perspective. This new body of original prints, created by twenty 20 PCC members ( juried by Deborah Cornell ) and 20 from the UK, was to be exhibited in both countries during 2020 2021. It was exhibited generously by the Cape Cod Museum in April of 2020 and well received. One (6) portfolio of the 40 prints was gifted to the Cape Museum of Art permanent collection.
