Drawing from surrounding nature and my environment on cape cod, my work reflects
my experiences in abstractions of color, light, and texture. I layer images
often to interpret a time lapse of season or to bring into focus my personal
connection to nature or a place or event.
Most of my work today is monoprint with several layers of transparent color and
overlays of images with different plates.
My work method has recently been in woodcut however; I often use woodcut,
etching, solarplate and stencils together and collage pieces of several prints
culminating in one piece.
