While the process of whiteline printing is a new one for me, I find its demand for focus and precision both hypnotic and challenging. Because I am also a pastel painter, the completely opposing nature of the two disciplines represents a ying/yang pull on me.
The delightful whimsy of Sonia Delaunay’s work, along with that of Beryl Sibley Worthen and other early Provincetown pioneers of whiteline, plus my earlier training in color theory combine to influence me in this wonderful new world of printmaking.
